DVLA public lecture slated for September 4

The annual public lecture by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Cedi Hall, University of Ghana, Legon. The topic of this year’s lecture, which coincides with the DVLA’s 25th anniversary, is “Navigating the Future: Innovating and Excelling in Public Service.” The DVLA management made a statement stating that in addition to honouring the organization’s accomplishments and landmarks, the public lecture will serve as a forum for important national conversations on automobiles and driver licensing.

Along with other professionals and industry experts, the public lecture will feature presentations from a variety of speakers, including Cecil Ebow Garbrah, CEO of Toptech Ghana, and Professor Raymond Atuguba, Dean of the University of Ghana School of Law. Topics of discussion will include safety regulations, milestones, the future of technology in public service, and modernising driver and vehicle licensing in Ghana. The chance to interact with important stakeholders and authorities in public services and road transport will be provided to participants.
