Mankessim is getting ready for Bongofest 2024, a remarkable cultural event that will take place at the School Kessim Astroturf on September 14. The first Bongofest, named for Quamina MP’s late father, took place in December 2022 in Accra and was a huge success, drawing a broad audience and a star-studded lineup. This year’s event, which has the well-known Quamina MP as the main act, promises to be an exciting evening of music, dance, cultural demonstrations, and community service.
Top performers include Twitch 4EVA, Kofi Mole, Kelvyn Boy, Fameye, Medikal, Kwame Yesu, Kimilist, Mr. Drew, Dayonthetrack, Gonaboy, La Même Gang, Asomacy, and many more are on the schedule for the event. The festival, which will feature EL Baby, will also feature exciting performances by the dance gangs Team Groove Africa and Team Warrior, making for an exciting evening.
The Manna Heights Hotel has been named the official lodging partner, offering visitors and artists cosy accommodations. With more than 10,000 expected attendees The Central Region’s Bongofest 2024 is expected to be a historic occasion. A wide variety of events, including food vendors, art exhibits, musical performances, and cultural exhibitions, are in store for attendees.
