Sad News as Akua Donkor confirmed dead
The family of Akua Donkor, the presidential candidate for the Ghana Freedom Party, has confirmed her passing. She died on Monday night at Ridge Hospital in Accra.
Madam Donkor initially visited Nsawam Government Hospital in the Eastern Region due to respiratory issues and was later referred to Ridge Hospital. She arrived at Ridge around 7 PM, but unfortunately, she passed away by 10 PM.
Just two weeks prior, she had attended an Inter Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting in Accra, where she voiced her frustrations over derogatory comments regarding her qualifications for the upcoming Election 2024. She expressed her dissatisfaction with ongoing remarks about her lack of formal education and emphasized her commitment as a candidate despite not having traditional schooling.
