A tragic incident occurred in Sege, Ada West District, where a 24-year-old woman, Eunice Sebbi, was found dead in her boyfriend’s room, in what appears to be a case of suicide. The incident took place in the early hours of Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
According to sources, Eunice Sebbi went missing from her family home in Goi three days before her death was discovered. Her boyfriend, a cab driver, is said to have found her deceased, hanging in his room when he came from work about 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
Superintendent Daniel Yaro, the Sege District Police Commander, confirmed the tragic event but refrained from sharing further details. The body of the deceased has since been moved to the Police Hospital mortuary, where an autopsy is expected to be conducted to determine the cause of death.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Eunice Sebbi’s death is ongoing.
