Renowned Ghanaian playwright and motivational speaker, Uncle Ebo Whyte, recently shared an experience where a female admirer made him feel uneasy. During an interview on Showbiz 360 with Giovani Caleb last Saturday, Uncle Ebo recounted the incident, which occurred while he was taking photos with members of a church where he had been invited as a guest.
“The ladies who throw themselves at me are not in the group. There’s a church I went to preach in. It was women’s fellowship day and after that, they decided we should do pictures. A woman stood behind me and smooched me all through the photos.
“I didn’t even look at her. Any group they called, she always there behind me, she wouldn’t move,” Uncle Ebo said.
Uncle Ebo also used the opportunity to challenge the common belief that men dominate sexual encounters. He expressed the opposite view, asserting that women actually hold the power and control in intimate situations. He further advised men to stop boasting about sex, as they are not the “winners” in such encounters.
“When a man sleeps with a woman, he tells his friends, ‘Oh, I finish am. But if you know who finished who, you will stop. You will not talk.”
“In any sexual encounter. The winner is not the man. It’s the woman. The man, all you did was you gave your energy; you gave your reputation, you gave opportunities. You gave all kinds of things,” he said.
