Ghanaian center Amida Brimah has signed a two-month contract with Spanish team BAXI Manresa for the 2024-2025 season. Amida Brimah , who previously played for the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G-League and Mets de Guaynabo in Puerto Rico, joins Manresa to fill the spot of the injured Bodian Massa.
At 30 years old and standing 6 feet 10 inches, Amida Brimah returns to Europe after winning the Belgian league with Oostende and competing in the EuroCup with Bourg-En-Bresse. He also had a brief stint with Serbian side Partizan Belgrade.
Manresa finished eighth in the Endesa Regular Season with a record of 19 wins and 15 losses but was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by top seed Unicaja. Brimah previously won a national title with the University of Connecticut and set the NBA G-League blocks record during his time with the Santa Cruz Warriors after a short tenure with the Indiana Pacers.
