NPP Presidential Candidate and Vice President of the republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is expected to officially file his nomination for the New Patriotic Party for the 2024 general elections on 9th September, 2024.
The filing will be done at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission in Accra.
Dr. Bawumia, who has been appointed by the NPP as their presidential candidate in the coming elections, will be followed by his Running Mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, and other dignitaries from the Party such as the National Chairman, General Secretary, and the Speaker of the Ghanaian Parliament.
After filing his nomination, Dr. Bawumia is expected to address party members and the general public at the NPP National Headquarters at 9:00 AM.
This event is expected to attract a large number of people as the Party campaigns for its candidate ahead of the December polls.
The NPP leadership has encouraged all Party members and the general public to participate in what they have termed as a historic occasion that would mark a significant developmental moment in the history of the NPP and the Ghanaian politics.
