Ghana wrapped up their journey in the CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Egypt 2024 on a positive note, securing a dominant 10-3 victory over Tanzania on Tuesday, October 22, in Hurghada.
Both teams entered their final Group A match having already been eliminated after suffering defeats to Egypt and Morocco, who advanced to the semi-finals. Despite the stakes, Ghana delivered a commanding performance, overpowering Tanzania in what turned out to be a one-sided encounter.
Ghana displayed clinical finishing throughout the 13-goal contest, while Tanzania struggled to keep pace, managing only three goals against the Ghanaian onslaught.
This marked Ghana’s third appearance in the Beach Soccer AFCON finals, following group-stage exits in 2015 and 2016. Tanzania, similarly, made their third tournament appearance, having previously bowed out at the group stage in 2018 and 2021.
