Ghanaian actor Richard Kweku Asante, widely known as Kalybos, has opened up about the challenges that led to the end of his five-year relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Frimpongmaa.
Speaking on the Girl’s Aloud podcast, Kalybos reflected on the breakup, explaining that sometimes long-term relationships don’t necessarily lead to marriage. “Being in a relationship for a long time doesn’t mean you have to settle with the person no matter what. If you realize things aren’t aligning with what you want, it’s okay to walk away,” he said.
When one of the hosts asked if his relationship with Frimpongmaa wasn’t meeting his expectations, Kalybos confirmed, “No, it wasn’t.”
