NDC official, 2 others remanded for destroying posters on DRIP equipment

The Awutu Bereku District Court has ordered the remand of three individuals, including Cassius Oto Larbi, the Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Awutu Senya West, into police custody.

The other two accused are Robert Arthur and Bright. They are facing charges of vandalizing posters of New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and parliamentary candidate Eugene Arhin, which had been placed on DRIP machines.

The case has drawn attention due to the political affiliations of those involved, and the accused remain in custody as investigations continue.

The court presided over by her ladyship; Naomi Kuntor has ordered them to re-appear on Monday 16th September 2024.

Meanwhile, irate NDC supporters and the incumbent MP and PC, Gizella Agbotui Tetteh have besieged the police station where they are being kept.
