The Electoral Commission (EC) has assured the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the public that it will re-exhibit the corrected Provisional Voters Register (PVR) online prior to printing the Final Register for the 2024 Elections.
This commitment comes in response to a petition submitted by the NDC following the party’s demonstration on September 17, 2024. The NDC had requested a five-day of Re-Exhibit of the PVR after completing a forensic audit, arguing that this would allow registered voters, especially those affected by errors, to verify their information and ensure the integrity of the Voters Register. They warned that without this re-exhibition, many legitimate voters risk being disenfranchised.
