2025 AFCON: CAF and LOC announce host cities and venues

The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF), in collaboration with the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football and the Local Organizing Committee for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025, has unveiled the cities and stadiums selected to host matches for Africa’s premier football tournament.

The competition, scheduled to take place from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, will feature games across six cities and nine stadiums, showcasing Morocco’s readiness to deliver a world-class tournament.

The selected cities include Rabat, Casablanca, Agadir, Marrakech, Fes, and Tangier, with each city featuring iconic stadiums that will host the continent’s best football teams.

The Grand Stade de Tanger, with its impressive capacity of 75,600, stands out as the largest venue for the tournament, followed by the Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat, which holds 69,500 spectators.

This announcement highlights Morocco’s extensive preparations and commitment to delivering an exceptional tournament that will celebrate African football on the global stage.
