The eight-member committee, appointed by President John Dramani Mahama, has been tasked with planning and organizing the National Education Forum, a key initiative aimed at driving improvements in the sector.

Renowned academic Professor George K. T. Oduro will lead the committee, which includes distinguished educators and experts such as Professor Goski Alabi, Professor Rosemary Bosu, Dr. Samuel Awuku, Professor Smile Dzisi, Kofi Asare, Stephen Owusu, and Inusah Shiraz.

The committee has been given two weeks to develop and present a comprehensive report outlining strategic plans to enhance education in Ghana. The forum will bring together key stakeholders to discuss policies and reforms that will improve learning outcomes, upgrade educational infrastructure, and support teacher development.
