South Dayi MCE aspirant pledges to foster development and unity

Mr. Kwame Courage Kokroko, an aspirant for the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) position in South Dayi, has assured residents of his dedication to fostering development and working closely with local authorities if appointed.

In an interview with Adom News after his vetting in Ho, Mr. Kokroko emphasized that South Dayi’s progress hinges on effective collaboration between the MCE and key stakeholders, expressing confidence in his ability to achieve this vision.

Outlining his priorities, Mr. Kokroko pledged to address critical issues affecting the municipality, including water shortages in communities such as Kpalime and Tongor. He also plans to expand water supply infrastructure in areas like Peki and Kpeve.

In addition, he highlighted the need for road network improvements, particularly the rehabilitation of the Gemeni-Fodome-Kpeve Town road and roads within Peki town, as part of his agenda to improve infrastructure across the municipality.

Mr. Kokroko expressed optimism about his potential appointment, reiterating his unwavering commitment to serving the people of South Dayi under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama, Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.

“My priority will be to unite the people of South Dayi and tackle pressing challenges to ensure meaningful development in the municipality,” he stated.

Residents await the decision regarding Mr. Kokroko’s appointment, hopeful that his promises will translate into tangible progress for the community.
