Residents of Nkwanta South in the Oti Region are calling for the establishment of a permanent military base to tackle ongoing violence and land disputes that have devastated lives and properties in the area.
Speaking to Adom News, community members expressed confidence that a sustained military presence would deter aggressors and ensure a swift response to any future threats.
This appeal follows a series of violent clashes that have claimed over six lives, injured many, and left significant property damage in their wake, leaving residents gripped by fear and insecurity.
