Police have launched an investigation after the body of an unidentified man was discovered at Asawase A-Line in the Asokore Mampong Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be established, while the circumstances surrounding his death remain unknown.
Officers from the Ghana Police Service visited the scene on Thursday, July 23, to assess the situation and commence investigations into the incident.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the cause of death or whether any arrests have been made as investigations continue.
The latest incident comes only days after the alleged killing of Yussif Zakari at Sabon Zongo, also within the Asokore Mampong Municipality.
Zakari was reportedly beaten to death in an incident that has raised fresh concerns over violent crimes in the municipality.
Police say investigations are ongoing and have appealed to the public to provide any information that could assist in identifying the deceased and establishing the circumstances surrounding his death.
