Akua Donkor’s final funeral rites announced
The family of the late Akua Donkor, founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), has announced that her final funeral rites will be held on March 29, 2025, at Ejuratia in the Ashanti Region. Madam Donkor passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 83, following a brief illness. Her one-week observation was previously held on November 14, 2024, at the Ejuratia Funeral Grounds. The family invites all friends, sympathizers, and the general public to join them in honoring her memory and celebrating her contributions to Ghanaian politics and community development.
