The Eastern Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Mark-Oliver Kevor, has commended President John Mahama for appointing Dr. Victor Bampoe as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).
Dr. Kevor described the appointment as a well-earned recognition of Dr. Bampoe’s dedication to national service and unwavering loyalty to the NDC.
Highlighting his expertise in the health sector, Dr. Kevor recalled Dr. Bampoe’s impactful tenure as Deputy Minister of Health under Mahama’s previous administration.
“He has a naturally calm demeanor, but his ability to deliver results with commitment and competence is exceptional,” he remarked.
Beyond his professional credentials, Dr. Bampoe has also been a key supporter of the party, providing financial and logistical assistance, particularly in Akuapem North and the broader Eastern Region.
His appointment follows the reassignment of Dr. Da Costa Aboagye to the Ghana Health Service.
