Everton stormed to a commanding victory over Leicester City, scoring twice in the opening six minutes—including the fourth-fastest goal in Premier League history—to secure a crucial win at Goodison Park.

In what was billed as a vital clash at the bottom of the table, the Toffees took full advantage of their brilliant first-half performance to pull 10 points clear of the relegation zone, while the Foxes remain in deep trouble, sitting just one point above the drop.

The hosts got off to a dream start when Abdoulaye Doucoure capitalized on Jordan Pickford’s long punt upfield, slotting home a composed finish after just 10.18 seconds—the fastest goal ever scored by an Everton player. Only Shane Long, Philip Billing, and Ledley King have found the net in a shorter time in Premier League history.

Everton doubled their lead just minutes later as Leicester’s static defending was exposed once again. Beto latched onto James Tarkowski’s pass through the middle and calmly slotted past Mads Hermansen, leaving the visitors reeling.

Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side struggled to contain Everton’s relentless attack and narrowly avoided conceding a third in the 20th minute when Jake O’Brien turned the ball in at the far post, only for the goal to be ruled out for offside.

However, the Toffees wrapped up the contest before the break when James Garner sliced through Leicester’s backline with a precise pass, setting up Beto for his second of the night with a clinical side-footed finish.

Everton remained in complete control throughout the second half, limiting Leicester to few chances. The victory was sealed in style when Iliman Ndiaye found the net late on, securing Everton’s third consecutive win and deepening Leicester’s relegation fears.
