Two-time Europa League finalists Roma will go head-to-head with Porto in the knockout phase play-offs, while José Mourinho’s Fenerbahce have been drawn against Belgian side Anderlecht.
Meanwhile, British clubs Manchester United, Tottenham, and Rangers have bypassed the play-off stage and secured direct entry into the last 16. They will find out their next opponents when the draw takes place on February 21.
Under the new bracket system, teams could only be matched against one of two possible opponents, based on their final positions in the league phase.
The first leg of the play-offs is set for February 13, with the return fixtures scheduled for February 20.
