Celtic 1-2 Bayern München

Harry Kane’s stunning second-half volley – his 60th goal in UEFA club competitions – proved decisive as Bayern took an important advantage back to Germany.

Michael Olise fired the visitors ahead just before halftime with a precise left-footed strike, and Kane doubled the lead early in the second period. However, Daizen Maeda’s close-range finish late in the game gave Celtic hope of turning the tie around next week.

Feyenoord 1-0 Milan

Feyenoord earned a narrow but deserved victory over seven-time European champions Milan, courtesy of an early goal from Igor Paixão.

The Brazilian winger made an instant impact, cutting inside from the left before unleashing a powerful shot that Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan failed to keep out. Paixão continued to trouble the Milan defense, rattling the crossbar with a curling effort before halftime and testing the keeper again with a long-range attempt in the second half.

Monaco 0-1 Benfica

Benfica secured a crucial away win against Monaco, with Vangelis Pavlidis scoring his sixth goal in five Champions League matches.

Pavlidis broke the deadlock early in the second half, sprinting past Mohammed Salisu before delicately chipping the ball over Monaco goalkeeper Radosław Majecki. The home side’s hopes suffered a further setback when Al Musrati was sent off in the 52nd minute after receiving a second yellow card. Despite their numerical advantage, Benfica failed to extend their lead but will take a valuable win into the second leg.

Club Brugge 2-1 Atalanta

Club Brugge gained the upper hand in their tie against Atalanta, securing victory through a late penalty from Gustaf Nilsson.

Ferran Jutglà had given the Belgian side the lead in the first half, latching onto a well-placed cross from Chemsdine Talbi before finishing emphatically. Atalanta responded before halftime, with Mario Pašalić rising highest to nod home an equalizer. However, deep into stoppage time, Nilsson kept his cool from the penalty spot, sending Rui Patrício the wrong way to seal a valuable first-leg win.
