Rev. Obofour Announces the Passing of His Mother, Nana Afia Pokuah
Founder and leader of Anointed Palace Chapel (APC), Kwaku Agyei Antwi, popularly known as Rev. Obofour, has been hit with a personal tragedy following the passing of his beloved mother, Nana Afia Pokuah.
The heartbreaking news was officially announced by Rev. Obofour on his Facebook page on February 28, 2025. According to the statement, Nana Afia Pokuah passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
Describing his late mother as a pillar of wisdom, kindness, and strength, Rev. Obofour paid tribute to her enduring legacy of love and compassion.
“It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our cherished mother, Nana Afia Pokuah, on Thursday, 27th February 2025. She lived a life full of love, strength, and unwavering kindness, leaving behind a lasting impact on all who knew her,” the statement read.
As the family navigates this difficult time, they have requested privacy while mourning their matriarch. Rev. Obofour also assured the public that details of her funeral arrangements would be communicated in due time.
