Devin Booker made history on Monday night, becoming the Phoenix Suns’ all-time leading scorer in their game against the Portland Trail Blazers. However, his milestone moment wasn’t enough to secure a victory, as the Suns fell 121-119 in overtime.

Booker led all scorers with 34 points, surpassing franchise legend Walter Davis’ long-standing record of 15,666 points. He reached the milestone with a three-pointer in the third quarter, receiving a warm ovation from the Portland crowd before embracing his family during a timeout.

Despite his historic night, Booker missed a crucial free throw in the final seconds of overtime that could have tied the game, allowing the Trail Blazers to hold on for the win.

The four-time All-Star, who was drafted 13th overall in 2015, has played his entire career with Phoenix, making 642 appearances. Davis, a six-time All-Star, set his record during 766 games for the Suns between 1977 and 1988.
