Mahama terminates Rev Ogbarmey Tetteh’s appointment as SEC boss

President John Mahama has relieved Rev. Daniel Ogbarmey Tetteh of his duties as the Director-General of the Ghana Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

In a directive issued through an official letter signed by the Executive Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama, Rev. Tetteh has been instructed to hand over his responsibilities to Dr. James Klutse Avedzi, the former Member of Parliament for Ketu North.

Dr. Avedzi will take on the role of Acting Director-General of the SEC until a permanent appointment is made.
