Portugal continued their impressive campaign by beating Croatia 2-1 and will now face Spain in an all-European showdown. Spain booked their place in the next round with a convincing 3-0 victory over Austria.
The United States also moved into the last 16 after defeating Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0. They will now meet Belgium, who edged Senegal 3-2 in one of the highest-scoring matches of the Round of 32.
