Ghanaian high jumper Rose Amoanimaa Yeboah stole the spotlight at the 49th Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Awards, cementing her status as a star athlete. The 23-year-old was the toast of the night, earning the prestigious Sports Personality of the Year title alongside the Female Athlete of the Year award.
The grand ceremony took place on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre, celebrating the exceptional achievements of Ghanaian sportsmen and women who brought glory to the nation in 2024.
In addition to Yeboah’s triumphs, Barcelona B’s Abdul Aziz Issah also stood out, walking away with the Male Footballer of the Year and Prospect of the Year accolades.
