Asante Kotoko has officially appointed Lawyer Samuel Sarfo Duku as the club’s new Head of Public Relations.
A seasoned legal professional and communications expert, Mr. Duku brings a wealth of experience to the role. Having previously served in a similar capacity at Kotoko, his deep understanding of the club’s traditions, values, and vision, combined with his legal background, makes him well-suited to lead its PR efforts.
The club clarified that his appointment is not a shift in communication strategy but rather a reinforcement of their commitment to transparency and effective engagement with stakeholders.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko has announced its withdrawal from all football activities following the tragic death of devoted supporter Francis Frimpong, known as ‘Nana Pooley.’
The incident occurred during their Ghana Premier League Matchday 19 encounter against Nsoatreman FC over the weekend.
