Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered a spectacular 50-point performance as the Oklahoma City Thunder stormed to a dominant 140-109 win over the Phoenix Suns, strengthening their position at the top of the Western Conference standings.
Despite trailing by 12 points late in the second quarter, the Thunder came alive in the third, outscoring the Suns 43-16 to seize control of the game.
This marks the third time in seven games that Gilgeous-Alexander has hit the 50-point milestone. Against the Suns, he drained three three-pointers and converted 11 of his 12 free-throw attempts.
“Just trying to be aggressive, play basketball, and take what the defense gives me,” Gilgeous-Alexander said after his stunning display.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat are reportedly in talks to trade six-time NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors.
The move comes after Butler was indefinitely suspended by Miami due to repeated violations of team rules. His latest suspension follows two earlier disciplinary actions in January.
